Lifestyle Newborn Photography in Sussex, WI

This new family of four welcomed handsome Sullivan into their family in January. Despite the negative temps, we stayed warm and cozy inside their gorgeous light-filled home to capture these fleeting newborn memories.

I always strive to capture those perfect “everyone-looking-and-smiling” portraits, but let’s also be real with two kids under two, we definitely have fun and I love to capture those moments as well… those are the real life moments with a newborn and another child. One day you’ll look back on these images and say “those were the days” <3

Waukesha Studio Newborn Photography

It’s easy to see why newborn sessions are just about the sweetest photo sessions ever! Watching mom and dad star-y eyed (and maybe a little sleepy) over their newest bundle of joy is so fun to watch and capture on camera. The endless kisses, forehead rubs and smiles make my job so easy.

For Hudson’s newborn session, we met at my new studio location in Waukesha. The clean, white, natural-light filled space made it the perfect spot to photograph this new family of three for the first time. The simple and clean keeps the focus of these images to these three, and with the studio so warm and cozy, he was happy and let out quite a few smiles!

Welcome Hudson <3

Sweet baby Lydia joined this party to make five for this family in June! Big sister could not have been more excited to share a room with her and finally have a sister. The endless sleepovers and built in best-friends I'm sure will eventually make her forget all the clothes sharing they may fight about over the years - having three sisters, I know!

So thankful for beautiful families who allow me to capture so many different moments in their lives!

Baby Grace

Baby Grace arrived just three days after Christmas, and I'm sure she was definitely their favorite gift this year. This family of three (actually five, including their pups) are hunkering down for a Wisconsin winter and cuddling up inside, which is my favorite way to photograph a newly expanded family!

Also, how cute is this nursery?! While small, white paint, a graphic wallpaper and moroccan inspired accents (which mom and dad brought back from their latest trip) make this space the perfect spot for baby Grace to grow!

Thank you for inviting me into your home to document some of the sweetest moments as you bring your baby girl home, welcome home <3

Beautiful baby Rowan was born shortly before Christmas! I'm not sure what can make the holidays more exciting than a brand new baby! I love lifestyle in-home newborn sessions because we can capture and remember the exact time of the year they brought their sweet baby girl home, and all the crazy cold days to follow where they stayed home and snuggled forever <3

We also made sure to capture some special moments by their Christmas tree in their living room, but all the gray, whites and floral prints in her nursery and home, made my light and airy heart burst.

Welcome baby Cara! This family welcomed me into their home again to capture there newest addition. I first captured big brother Connor's newborn photography session last year, then again when he was six months and a year, and now as their family grew by another member. I love getting to watch my client's families grow and thankful they invite me to be a small part of it <3

In-Home, Lifestyle Newborn Photography in Erin, WI

I was so honored to capture this family in their home with their second born child, baby Emmett last year - and I was so honored to photograph them again when they brought baby Ella home. The story these images tell doesn't start with Emmett or Ella though, they begin with Madelyn, Emmett's big sister, who was born 15 weeks too early and lived an amazing five weeks before passing away. Even with only five weeks, Madelyn has made an impact on so many, so we included her in the photographs below.

You'll see two bears, one bear weighs exactly her weight, another is made from a onesie she wore before passing away. Also, the bracelet that mama wears has Madelyn's bow on it and her pretty little face was present in every room we went in a frame.

Emmett, Ella & Madelyn's parents are incredibly brave and are amazing parents <3 This family is so beautiful and I'm so glad I could capture their joy again.

Fresh 48 Newborn Photography at Elmbrook Hospital

Welcome to the world baby Henry! There's nothing quite like those first few days with a fresh new baby in the hospital. After I had my first, you crave that new-ness, so I LOVE doing fresh 48 hospital sessions for families so they forever have these moments saved. I know not every mama feels comfortable getting photographed SO soon after giving birth, but there is so much beauty in your new mama roll and it's worth being captured - you won't regret it!

Baby Henry was the perfect addition to this new family of four! Big sister was so excited to meet him and was so loving (hopefully those feelings have carried on) and loved laying on the kisses. He also had the sweetest little glances at mama that made my heart burst!

Documenting these moments have me incredibly excited to add a sweet little boy to our crew in just a few days <3

It's a GIRL! You may remember this sweet family from a lifestyle in-home maternity session a few months ago. The little girls were hoping for another sister and big brother was hoping to even things out with a brother. Sorry buddy!

Sweet baby Alisa fit right in with this adorable family, her older siblings can't get enough of her. For a portion of their session big brother was at school and dad at work, so we made sure to capture some sweet moments of mama and her little girls <3

Lifestyle Newborn Photography Session | Floral Nursery

Winter usually means not too many sessions happen outside besides a few snow/Christmas-y photo sessions, but that means ALL.THE.NEWBORN sessions and I love getting to document these special moments of welcoming a new family member <3

Baby Navy was as sweet as can be and slept almost her entire photo session. And I was also in love with her gorgeous floral, light & airy, nursery complete with floral wallpaper as a feature wall. Her parents couldn't be more in love with their precious gift (even big brother Dragon, the pug, loved to be near her), and baby Navy was so teeny tiny held in her daddy's arms!

Sweet baby Quinn was nice and cozy when I arrived for his session and slept like a dream for the first part of his session next to a warm fire. When he woke up he was full of those adorable baby yawns and beautiful eyes watching our every move.

I love being able to photograph growing families in their home, it'll be fun for this family to look back on these in the years to come and see how tiny baby Quinn was and bring them back to those moments in their home together where they experience lots of firsts.

This little man has stolen the hearts of his parents, doggy, and grandma (who happened to be helping out while we did Dillon's session). His family was so excited for his arrival as so much of his nursery was handmade with so much love. We made sure to capture some fun memories such as the quilt that was specially made as well as a book Andrea's daddy read to her when she was a baby, now reading to her own little guy.

Baby Dillon you are so loved <3

While typically my fall schedule is filled with outdoor family sessions documenting the changing colors, it was a fun change of pace to capture this new family of four in October. Baby Caleb was welcomed into such a loving family and home, little sister Nora was pretty excited to have a little brother as you'll see below! And issn't his little woodland nursery adorable?

*You may recognize this family from this winter sledding family session from 2015 :)

You may remember Savannah's parents a few months ago, when we met at Frame Park Botanical Gardens for maternity photos. Savannah made her appearance and I met up with this sweet family to capture their growing family. And can we just talk about how cute she is and all of her hair!

Halloween was just around the corner too - so we made sure to try on her "The Hungry Caterpillar" costume too.

Light & Airy Nursery

Ramsey was such a rockstar baby - with the mohawk hair to match! When I arrived to shoot his session, Ramsey was so chill and was so fascinated with my camera he stared at it almost everytime he could. Ramsey is also blessed with the most amazing parents, they were SOO in love with their little guy - and SOO in love with each other!

Ramsey's nursery was a dream, so bright and airy, decorated with adorable baby animals left and right. His mama spent a lot of time making it perfect and you could tell, every.little.detail was just right. Thank you Ryley, Talia, and Ramsey for trusting me to capture these special moments in your growing family, I left your session with the biggest smile on my face!

Lately all my newborn babies have been going past their due dates (sorry for all of you who just booked me, I hope that doesn't mean you will too!). This little lady made her appearance at the end of May and so glad I got to photograph this sweet, sweet family in their home. Little Nora has THE.BEST.HAIR ever, her daddy was the best swaddler I've ever seen, and Nora's mama was so sweet and kind and has become the best mama!

Little Lainie made her parents wait a little longer to meet her and had an eventful arrival, but she made it safely and is healthy so that's all that matters! This little lady was so sweet, and her nursery was so adorable. Her mama loves London, so created a "London Tea" theme and handmade the mobile and picked out everything so well.

Thank you for welcoming me into your home to capture this amazing time in your lives!
