So I’ve become really bad at this whole blogging thing. Real bad. But that is because I’ve been busy designing. I’m currently working on three different sites at work that are needing a makeover, as well as finished up iMyGarden. Check them out:

Holy cow, its been a loooongg time since I’ve posted, and its actually been wonderfully not having to post everyday. I decided to take a break from my challenge (well kind of). Everyday I do design something, however I just don’t have time to post it every day. I’ve got other important things to do, such as spending time with my husband or cleaning. Soo, in the past two months, I’ve been working on lots of different things. At work, I’ve been working on our iphone app that will launch in June. I’ve designed a site and now converting it to html. I also created some of the elements for the actual app. That is on top of my other daily/weekly duties to design the marketing emails and other pieces and updating images for the sites.

For freelancing, I’ve designed a logo and pieces to go with it for VIF. And I also redesigned Beachcomber Salon’s site. These projects I’ve had for awhile, and so glad to be almost done with them. Then NO more freelancing for awhile. I’ve been saying no to all new projects and it feels soooo stinking awesome. So from now on, I’m just going to post projects I’m working on that I am excited to share, without feeling pressured to post something every day. I feel much better about that and should have the time for that.

Working on a freelance project. My idea of a good night doesn’t include freelancing, so looks like my night wasn’t a very good night. Awesome, because really who wants to work all day and all night. Not this girl. But anyways, here is a logo I’m working on for the kids at VIF. I don’t have much to go on yet, so here is my first concept.

Day 66: Signature

Today I designed something super simple, but yet, it was thought out. I designed a signature for our blogger “Gabrielle”. Everything about this blog, I designed to go together to fit and to make it look cohesive.

Cooking is sort of like designing and today we’ll just say it is. We got home from up north around dinner time and I still had to test the recipe from the HBF recipe contest. So I made it and here are a few shots of how it looked.

I finished these two brochures today because I had to get them printed because Drew and I are going up north tomorrow (woot!) to go skiing!! So these brochures have different outsides, but the same insides. But excited to have them done and had the opportunity to do them.
