While many will say fall is the best time for family photos, I’d have to disagree - there’s just something about summer that captures childhood at it’s best - whether you are capturing a milestone or just updating your family photos, let me convince you to try a summertime session.
Weather - The weather in Wisconsin is at its prime in Summer, this is the reason we endure our Midwest winters. Load up on the bug spray, and you’ll be just fine. The beautiful golden light of summer is perfect for capturing families, and with the warmer weather, you may be able to sneak in some water photos at Lake Michigan or a local river or Lake.
Clothing - With the perfect weather, you’ll have much more options for clothing without needing to add “all the layers” you may for fall. Flowy dresses, sleeveless options that show off your tan skin - you can even go barefoot!
No School - With school on break and less busy schedules, we can stay up past bedtimes to capture that golden hour and watch the sunset together. This is what summers are made of.
Ice Cream Bribery - With the warmer weather, ice cream is the perfect bribery - and it’ll work ;)
